my last post is the 888th post.
shouldn't that be auspicious?
Where is my luck, seriously?
I can't remember which night it was,
but there was one night I forgot to take out my contact lenses.
I only notice it the next morning,
I was walking around the house, smiling and telling myself
"Everything is so bright, vivid, clear and beauti...wait, why is everything clear?!"
I quickly reach up to my eyes,
and checked if a miracle happened and my perfect sight came back,
or my stupidity struck and I forgot to take it out the night before.
The answer is the latter.
The weird thing was,
my eyes weren't in pain or anything.
true story.
Took them off anyways,
the fact that I was already aware of my lenses
will create some phantom pain that you get
when you realize you have a cut somewhere
but only start to feel the pain when you see the cut.
get it?
good.
Have I mention that I really want to work in the hospital?
Yeah.
That could be one week and one interview away.
so, where's my mr.luck?
